I belong to a graphics/photo forum on the web that has challenges every month. I don't participate often as I don't use the graphics software they promote and support. However, we're encouraged to use the software of our choice for the challenges. I learn so much from them all (mostly guys!). This challenge was to force part of any image "outside the box".
I desaturated my colored photo of an old rusting Pauly Ranch truck for submission to the challenge. (Mine is mediocre at best. Although all skill levels are represented, most of the guys are fantastic, experienced graphic artists who use the Wacom drawing tablet with a stylus. It's hard to draw or paint with a mouse!)
