The first challenge was to create an ornament reflecting our image. The tree belongs to my friend Cris. She and her husband put real candles on their tree and light them for singing "Silent Night" at their special holiday party. It's a very moving event.
The next challenge was to start with a given outline of the cross then color it. While most everyone made metals (gold and/or silver), I decided wood, inlaid and carved, would be fun.
